“Tobias understood the scope of my complicated business and personal concerns very quickly, often anticipating potential challenges – and their solutions - before they arose. I was very impressed with both his approach and work ethic.”
Tobias Clapp
Tobias began his legal career in 2019 after securing a 2:1 in Law from Exeter University, with a first in his Family Law module. Following the completion of his LPC, he worked as a corporate paralegal with a focus on company law, due diligence, transactions and client liaison.
As a trainee Solicitor, Tobias worked for an international law firm in London where he split his time across disciplines including commercial property, employment and employment litigation, commercial litigation and corporate matters. He furthered his career as an Associate with another London-based firm whose focus was corporate, commercial, regulatory, litigation and tax law. His role required the drafting, negotiation and guidance on contracts, agreements and compliance documents for a wide variety of clients including many international start-up companies entering the UK market. Furthermore, he has prepared and submitted correspondence to the London Court of International Arbitration regarding proceedings and orders for his clients.
Clients of Tobias with complex business structures or those looking for contractual agreements, be they in anticipation of marriage, or between unmarried partners, will especially benefit from the dedication, critical eye and attention to detail that he brings to his Family Law work with the firm.
